Conichnus isp.

Description: Conichnus is a vertically oriented burrow with a cone-in-cone structure that tapers in the downward direction. Conichnus differs from Rosellia in that the bottom of the burrow terminates in a point, rather than continuing into a narrower tube. Conichnus is interpreted as a resting trace with evidence of equilibrium as a sessile organism (probably an anemone) moved upward in response to sedimentation.
