Description: Diplocraterion is a U-shaped burrow oriented perpendicular to bedding; spreite are apparent between the limbs of the U. Diplocraterion is interpreted as a dwelling burrow made by an animal that adjusted its burrow either up or down in response to increased sedimentation or erosion, respectively.
