Description: Lockeia is an ovoid, biconvex, and bilaterally symmetrical trace fossil, typically preserved as a positive relief trace on the bottom of a bed. The overall shape is similar to an almond (and about the same size). Lockeia is interpreted as a bivalve resting trace.
