Rhizocorallium isp.

Description: Rhizocorallium is a horizontally or obliquely oriented, U-shaped burrow that shows spreite between the limbs of the U. This trace fossil is distinguished from Diplocraterion by its horizontal attitude. Rhizocorallium is interpreted as a feeding burrow where the animal moved horizontally through the sediment in a systematic feeding pattern.
