Rusophycus isp.

Description: Rusophycus is a horizontally oriented bilobate, ovoid-shaped burrow that has parallel to subparallel scratch marks laterally extending from a central bisecting plane. Rusophycus, as an ichnogenus, has been placed into the ichnogenus Cruziana by Seilacher (1970), but because of its still common usage amongst ichnologists as a name, I have included it here. Rusophycus is a resting trace made by a trilobite or a trilobite-like arthropod.
